Essential Items

  • 2 duffle bags per person *No trunks or suitcases
  • PFD (lifejacket)
  • Flashlight and batteries (nothing big or fancy)
  • Sleeping Bag
  • 2 Water Bottles
  • Dry Bag

  • Rain Gear
  • 2-3 sun hats
  • Stationary, envelopes, pens (pre-addressed, non-stamped, light coloured envelopes)
  • 2-3 Epi-Pens (if applicable for allergies)
  • 2 inhalers (if applicable for any campers with asthma)
  • Insect/Bug Repellent

We’ll cover what to pack, how to pack it, and what to do with it all. We’ll also talk about what items are not allowed at Camp Tamakwa.

Be sure to read this section carefully… and probably a few times!!

Expensive items can get ruined or lost, so pleas try and send OLD items and please label everything!
