While summer camps usually mean kid-centric fun, we know adults need their downtime too.

Not For Kids Only is the ultimate escape tailored for adults craving relaxation, adventure, and connection in stunning Algonquin Provincial Park.

DIRECTIONS TO CAMP

FROM TORONTO

Take Hwy. 400 NORTH to Barrie. Merge onto Hwy. 11 NORTH. Take Hwy. 11 for 135 km( 85 miles) to Huntsville. Just past Huntsville is the junction to Hwy. 60 EAST (right). Take Hwy. 60 EAST for 40 km (25 miles) to the West Gate of Algonquin Park. Pass the West Gate (Info Centre) and continue EAST on Hwy. 60 inside the park 12 km (7 1/2 miles) to Smoke Creek Bridge. Just past the Smoke Creek Bridge, on the left is an UNMARKED road, which will lead you to our parking lot area. At the bottom of the hill is TAMAKWA’S boat landing.

FROM DETROIT

Option 1: Tunnel or bridge to Windsor and follow the signs to Hwy 401 EAST to London.

Option 2: 696 EAST, then I-94 EAST and follow signs to Port Huron, then signs to Canada (or Blue Water Bridge). Cross to Sarnia, take Hwy 402, which merges onto Hwy 401 EAST at London. From London, take 401 to Toronto. As you approach Toronto, take Express Toll Route “ETR” Hwy. 407 EAST to Hwy. 400 NORTH. Take Hwy. 400 NORTH to Barrie and follow the same directions as outlined in the “FROM TORONTO” directions given above.

FROM BUFFALO AND WESTERN NY

Take the New York Throughway to Buffalo. Cross the Peace Bridge into Canada and follow the QEW (Queen Elizabeth Way) for about 1 hour until you come to Hwy. 427, just before entering Toronto. Take Hwy. 427 NORTH to Hwy. 401 EAST to Hwy. 400 NORTH and follow the same directions as outlined in the “FROM TORONTO” directions given above.

FROM MONTREAL

Take Hwy. 40 WEST to Ontario, where it becomes Hwy. 417. Follow Hwy. 417 past Ottawa, where it becomes Hwy. 17. Continue WEST on Hwy. 17 to Hwy. 60. Take Hwy. 60 WEST to Algonquin Park’s East Gate at Whitney. Continue WEST inside the park about 40 km. Go 2 km. past (WEST) the Portage Store/- Canoe Centre. Turn right onto our UNMARKED dirt road. If you cross Smoke Creek Bridge, you have gone too far. Take the UNMARKED dirt road to the end to our parking lot.
