CAMP TAMAKWA IS THRILLED TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE HAVE ONCE AGAIN TEAMED UP WITH ADVENTURE VALLEY DAY CAMP!!
In 2010, Camp Tamakwa teamed up with Adventure Valley Day Camp and an incredible group of 40 eager campers had an exciting 4-day overnight ontario summer camp experience. Another energetic and active group of campers from Adventure Valley loved every second at Tamakwa in 2011…
And again this summer, for 4 very special days in August, a limited number of Adventure Valley campers will be treated to a taste of Tamakwa’s ontario summer camp hospitality and introduced to our campers, staff, activities, and traditions. This will also be great for our campers enabling them to show off Tamakwa’s energy and spirit, not to mention beautiful Algonquin Park. During their time at Tamakwa, the Adventure Valley campers will be accompanied by some of their own staff and will also have a few dedicated Tamakwa staff, as well as cabins dedicated only for their use.
Adventure Valley Day Camp is located in a secluded, stunning 20 acre oasis just north of Leslie and Steeles. The Adventure Valley family has well over 20 years of day camp experience and they share Tamakwa’s core values of family, spirit, compassion, and traditional camp fun, all in a safe and nurturing environment.
We are excited to help provide new Toronto area campers a few days at Tamakwa combining the best of both day and residential ontario summer camp life for them this summer and for many summers to come.
